Four Simple Tips
Here are four simple tips to cut back on waste:
1) Finish your food. Landfills are filled with wasted food that produces methane gas. Methane gas is more potent then CO2, more than 20 times more potent.
2) When grabbing a drink when you’re out, why use a disposable cup? Relax and have your beverage in a glass. If you are on the go, bring you own cup.
3) Stop drinking bottled water; find a water fountain or bring you own in a reusable bottle.
4) When you shop, and not just at the grocery, bring your own sturdy bags for your purchases.
