December 3, 2017 Filled under News

Isaac Baker from Resonant Energy

StyrofoamMom recently paused her documentary editing and hit the pavement promoting the StyrofoamMom movie trailer. She attended the PEDC vs NY Pitch night to find the next best energy and sustainability start-up.  Companies were competing for attention and funding.
4 teams from Potential Energy DC PEDC and 4 from Urban Future Labs.
To say that Mom was proud was an understatement.

Winner Resonant Energy stirred the hearts, minds, and continuousness of all. Resonant believes, everyone has a right to affordable solar and they are putting their plan into action one Northeast community at a time. This is a list of the groups that competed for start up of the year.

StyrofoamMom finished out her very social week networking with her favorite

Hive of Leaders in Energy LERCPA. Executive Director Janine Finnell, the LERCPA board and a team of advisors delighted guest with an inspirational presentation that aligned 4 generations of trail blazers and made StyrofoamMom
so grateful to call each a partner in the solutions rather than co-complainers.support for ideas that design EPS out of the waste stream. Lifetime Achievement

The winner could be called StyrofoamDad S. David Freeman.
He wrote “Energy: The New Era” (1974), “Winning Our Energy Independence: An Energy Insider Shows How” (2007), and more recently, “All-Electric America” (2016) and a biography entitled “The Green Cowboy” (2016). All on StyrofoamMom’s Christmas wish list.

Finally, thanks to entering her business card in the Four Genrations drawing
StyrofoamMom won the Green America gift bag with yummy truffles from
Alter Eco as well as lots of sustainable goodies, but the Green America newsletter
was the real treat. If you have not subscribed, take Mom’s advice and sign
yourself and your friends up and enjoy a wonderful reading and needed inspiration.

StyrofoamMom was honored to meet fellow  Gen Xer Lori Arguelles, President and CEO,
Alice Ferguson Foundation at the Leaders in Energy Four Gen Event Dec. 1, 2017.
