Attention Parents Solar Decathlon 2011

September 9, 2011 Filled under News

About a year ago I watched a video with my children about mountain top removal for coal mining in West Virginia Coal County . When it was over I felt as helpless as the families in the video. Big business, crooked politician and great salesman, it seemed would continue to prevail. Why? Because so many people in America are desperate to continue to waste or at tthe vary least to lazy to explore alternatives. Qverconsumption would continue unless the consequence of burning coal spilled into peoples own backyard.

Since then my knowledge of the issue has broadened. It may not be as bad as I thought. Changing over to renewables can be as easy as flipping a switch.

Please be sure to visit the Solar Decathlon and aquire the details on one of the most fun and educational programs availalbe in our area this fall.  It will brighten our horizons and open minds. A wonderful experience for every age.
